COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT

Supporting The Teapot 50+ Centre Through Community Engagement

Part of the Capstone’s team recently volunteered with The Teapot 50+ Centre at the Maison de la culture de Lachine in Montréal’s Lachine borough.

Throughout the day, the team contributed to a range of activities, including preparing baked goods, organizing service for participants, assisting with cleanup, and engaging with the organization’s staff and members. These interactions provided direct insight into the Centre’s longstanding role and its sustained contribution to the local community.

Community engagement remains a core component of responsible development. Active participation at the local level informs a more precise understanding of community needs and reinforces a commitment to long-term integration within the neighbourhoods in which we operate.

As our work in Lachine progresses, the focus remains on contributing in a tangible manner, supporting established local organizations, and reinforcing the social infrastructure that underpins resilient and connected communities.

We extend our appreciation to The Teapot 50+ Centre for their welcome and for the continued impact of their work within the community.
